How to stop the constant feeling of being judged

A feeling of being judged can stem from three things

  1. Worrying too much about what others think of you.
  2. A fragile ego.
  3. Feeling of guilt.

Attaching too much value to others opinions above your own opinion of self always leads to an unhappy existence. What others think of you never changes the reality about you, and it shouldn’t. So then why attach too much weight to their thoughts. No one is in this world to live according to others ideals of how you should be, because no one is born a slave, so why enslave yourself.

Ego feels more fragile than your physical existence that when it gets hurt it’s more painful than a physical injury. But you don’t need to make it painful. Like you develop the skills to protect your physical existence from any kind of danger you can do the same for ego. In order to do that first you need to stop attaching too much value to your ego, stop feeding it, stop it from blown up to a huge balloon. Watch how ego operates, understand it closer, develop self awareness.

A feeling of guilt can also lead to these thoughts. Rights and wrongs are subjective, things which are right in some place can be wrong in some other, similarly a right for a person can be wrong for someone else. As long as you are convinced, that what you are doing is right in your view, then there is no need to feel guilty on how others perceive it. No one is going to live your life for you, and you are the one to face the consequences of your decisions.
